Domain Construction

Current Definition

A perspective that holds that domains are socially constructed over time by domain designers. This view of domains can be contrasted with "domain modeling" which attempts to formally describe domains as given and static entities. The SER model is a framework for understanding the social and technical processes necessary to support domain construction.
